These terms govern your use of Eduvedha Careers, the teaching-jobs board operated by Eduvedha (“we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.

1. Free for teachers

Eduvedha never charges job-seekers. Creating a profile, browsing vacancies, applying, and appearing in the talent pool are, and will remain, free for candidates. We will never ask a teacher for a placement fee, a registration fee, or a deposit. Any message demanding money from a candidate in Eduvedha's name is fraudulent — please report it.

2. What Eduvedha is — and is not

Eduvedha is an intermediary that connects teachers and schools. Schools post and self-declare their own vacancies and details. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any employer, vacancy, salary, or the accuracy of any listing, and we do not display “verified employer” badges. The only checks we perform are confirming a school's government UDISE code before it may search the talent pool, and confirming a candidate's own email address and phone number. Hiring decisions, interviews, offers and employment are entirely between the school and the candidate.

3. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate, honest information about yourself, and keep it up to date.
• Use the service lawfully, and only for genuine job-seeking or hiring.
• Do not misuse another person's details, or apply on someone else's behalf without their consent.

4. Schools' responsibilities

• Post only genuine vacancies, described accurately, for roles you are actually hiring for.
• Hire lawfully and without discrimination. Requirements based on gender, marital status, religion, caste or similar grounds are not permitted.
• Carry out your own verification, background checks and, for roles involving children, checks required under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. These are the school's responsibility, not Eduvedha's.
• Use candidate data only for the role it was shared for, and delete it on the candidate's request.

5. Prohibited conduct

The following are not allowed on Eduvedha Careers, from anyone:

• Fake, misleading, or duplicate listings.
• Demanding any fee, deposit or payment from a candidate.
• Discriminatory requirements or language.
• Harvesting or scraping candidate data, or contacting candidates outside the purpose they consented to.

Anyone can report a listing from the vacancy page. We review reported listings within 72 hours and may take a listing down. If you see a request for money from a candidate, please report it and do not pay.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove any account or listing that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts candidates at risk. You may delete your own account or profile at any time; doing so erases your personal data as described in the Privacy Notice.

7. Limitation of liability

Eduvedha provides the platform on an “as is” basis and does not guarantee that any candidate will be hired or that any vacancy is genuine. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of schools or candidates, for hiring outcomes, or for the accuracy of self-declared listings. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
